为了满足大家学习制作甜品台的热情,我们特别邀请英国知名婚礼蛋糕设计师、蛋糕装饰书籍的畅销书作家、Squires Kitchen国际学校的资深导师-Makiko Searle于2017年3月到中国进行为期4天的甜品台系列课程的教学工作。

Makiko Searle曾在日本和英国接受系统的甜品及蛋糕装饰艺术培训,并先后在英国多家顶级酒店中担任甜品师。数年前Makiko成立了个人蛋糕装饰艺术公司- Maki’s Cakes,并取得了巨大的商业成功。Makiko擅长在英国传统的设计风格中增添令人耳目一新的日本元素,特别是她的日式手鞠球、米纸花蛋糕塔等原创作品备受业界推崇。Makiko的作品不仅多次登录在英国最具影响力的«新娘»、«你和你的婚礼»、«摩登新娘»等杂志,她还成为Squires Kitchen的«蛋糕装饰与糖艺»和«婚礼蛋糕»等专业杂志的撰稿人。Squires Kitchen 的B. 课程模块二:Makiko的独创代表作品-日式手鞠球蛋糕,皇家糖霜饼干和蛋白糖花饰

BEIJING :

Module 1: Sweet Table with 2-Tier Wedding Cake, Cupcakes and Cake Pops (18th-19th March)

Makiko Searle will expertly guide you on how to create an impressive Sweet Table over two action-packed days.

She will teach you how to cover a 2-tier wedding cake that will act as the central showpiece of your Sweet Table, and how to make delectable treats to complement your wedding cake colour scheme to form an impressive dessert table, fit for any celebration. Makiko will show you how to make a beautiful statement sugar flower and delicate edible lace to decorate the main cake and the accompanying iced cupcakes.

Elegant cake pops will complete the Sweet Table : Makiko will demonstrate how to make the cake mixture and how to dip the cake pops before decorating them to match the other components of your Sweet Table. 

You will assemble your final Sweet Table under Makiko's guidance and leave with one 2-tier wedding cake, 6 cupcakes and 6 cake pops. You will also take home Makiko’s personal recipes and tips used in the class, a Squires Kitchen Certificate and the confidence to create.

Module 2: Sweet Table with Temari Cakes, Iced Biscuits and Meringues (20th-21st March)

Makiko Searle will expertly guide you on how to create an impressive Sweet Table over two action-packed days.

She will take you through the process of creating her signature spherical Temari cakes, which will act as the central showpiece of your Sweet Table, and how to make delectable treats to complement your temari colour scheme to form an impressive dessert table, fit for any celebration.

Makiko will demonstrate how to bake and shape the sponges that form the base of her uniqueTemari cakes, and then take you through the process of covering dummies with both marzipan and sugarpaste to create a perfect sphere with a flawless finish. You will be making two different types of Temari cakes: the traditional Temari and the more elaborate Birdcage Temari. Makiko will show you how to use lustre dusts on the Temari cakes and how to pipe exquisite details using royal icing to create individual designs.

You will learn how to ice pretty biscuits to accompany the cakes and how to decorate the biscuits with delicate piping and intricate detail.

Colourful meringues will complete the Sweet Table : Makiko will show you how to bake the meringues to perfection and will demonstrate how to assemble them into an elegant meringue ball topiary to match the other components of your Sweet Table.

You will assemble your final Sweet Table under Makiko's guidance, displaying your Temari cakes onto a tiered cake stand surrounded by the biscuits and meringues. You will leave with a selection of Temari cakes and biscuits and one meringue ball on a cake board. TAIYUAN :
