Did you see The Great British Wedding Cake on BBC Two at 8pm on Wednesday 20th April 2011? You may have recognised Squires Kitchen’s cookery school where the finalists of The Great British Bake Off, Edd, Miranda and Ruth, each took on the challenge to make and bake two spectacular wedding cakes in just 16 hours.
On May 10th we held an exclusive ice cream tasting and demonstration at The Grange, and what a day it was! Ice cream specialist Robin Weir demonstrated how to make different types of ice cream and gave a talk on its history, physics and chemistry.
Squires Kitchen’s newly expanded and fully refurbished shop is now open 7 days a week. Monday to Saturday 9am-5.30pm Sunday 10am-4pm
