Alan Dunn was the very first guest to hold an author day at Squires Kitchen’s new cookery school at The Grange, hosting exclusive demonstrations and talking about his new book, Christmas Cakes.
This week, we ran our first class with the incredibly talented sugarcrafter and pastry chef Carlos Lischetti. Carlos shared his flawless sugar modelling skills with students who came along to learn how to recreate his style on their own cakes and models. The class sold out quickly and was a huge success with students learning how to make a toy soldier from developing concepts on paper to building a figure from sugar, step-by-step.
