Award-winning tutor and author Vicky Teather will teach you a whole host of essential modelling skills including hand modelling, texturing, dusting and moulding. Whether you’re new to sugar modelling or looking to step up your skills, you’ll love creating your own Puppy Love scene.

Discover Vicky’s top tips for working with modelling paste as you learn how to build 2 cute puppies using a range of basic shapes. Find out how to create facial expressions, animated gestures and fun costume effects you can apply to a variety of cake designs. 

At the end of the class you'll leave with a comprehensive understanding of modelling and sugarcraft techniques, as well as a delightful Valentines display ready to top your Valentines cake or table centre piece.

What you will learn:
• How to work and shape modelling paste with your hands to create the characters
• How to use essential modelling tools and equipment
• How to create a cushion effect in the surface of sugarpaste as well as texturing
• How to treat sugarpaste to create modelling paste
