Working on pre-baked cakes, we will teach you how to trim, shape, level and assemble a round and a square cake with ganache. Discover how to create tempered ganache to provide a smooth attractive base for sugarpaste along with helpful tips and hints on how to fix any problems along the way. We will expertly demonstrate the techniques and tools needed to create the sharpest of edges with your final sugarpaste layer, producing sharp edges and crisp corners according to the shape of each cake. Finally, we'll show you how to attach each cake to a board - the finishing touch for a smooth and flawless finish.

You will be working with pre made cakes and pre-prepared ingredients. We wil provide you with a delicious recipe booklet.

You will leave with the confidence and knowledge to create your own sharpe-edged round and square cakes.

All students will recieve a Squires Certificate.
