On this one day course tutor Claire Fitzsimons will share with you the secrets of creating a perfect cake every time – whether you’re planning for a party or just enjoying afternoon tea with friends and family.

Discover three different methods for baking sponges: creaming, all-in-one and whisked egg. You will make a traditional Victoria sponge which will be so light and fluffy you won’t believe that you made it! You will also make a mouth-wateringly gooey carrot cake and a wonderful chocolate Genoise.

Whether you take this course for fun, to learn for your business or to further your hobby, Claire's teaching style is relaxed and fun and you will go home with the knowledge to make your very own baked treats at home.
