On this one day course develop and practice various piping skills and how they can be combined to create hand piped lace. Tessa will take your through all the stages, starting with how to select a suitable lace pattern and adapt it so it can be piped onto a cake. Learn how to transfer your design onto a sugarpasted cake using a handmade embosser. Then using piping techniques such as drop line work, brush embroidery and outline piping execute your lace effect cake.
Finally complete your design by adding details such as piping gel, individual lace elements and tiny flowers to enrich the lace. Leave this course with a beautiful cake to be proud of.
