Making your own fresh bread is a fantastic life skill and one that fills your home with the unrivalled and welcoming smell of freshly baked bread. On this course you will learn how to make delicious Easter breads using traditional recipes from several European countries.

Course tutor: Keith Kirby

Course date and times:
  • Thursday 19th March: 10:00am to 4:30pm

Award winning baker, Keith Kirby, shares his in-depth knowledge of traditional Easter breads, including delicious chocolate hazelnut mini-brioche from France, a Paasstol from Denmark and traditional Hot Cross Buns.

Mixing the doughs, and shaping to give the bread strength before baking will be part of the class and you will learn techniques that you can easily replicate at home.

What you will make:

  • Traditional Hot Cross Buns
  • Chocolate and Hazelnut mini-brioche – France
  • Colomba di pasqua -Italian Easter ‘dove’ bread
  • Paasstol - Dutch Easter bread
  • Anello Pasquale - Italian Easter bread ring

You will take home everything that you bake!
