Royal icing expert Tessa Whitehouse will teach you the techniques for piping a range of festive flowers and decorations including piped pine cones, poinsettia, Christmas roses and bells complete with a charming Christmas greeting message created from an intricate filigree design.

Join Tessa on this one day course to learn how to pipe festive royal icing flowers using flat and cupped flower nails and cocktail sticks. You will learn how to pipe pine cones, poinsettia, Christmas roses and bells.
You will also be able to develop your piping skills further by creating a delicate filigree backdrop showing off a Christmas message.
Tessa will share her wealth of knowledge on Royal Icing, from how to make it and adapt the consistency for both flowers and filigree piping, to the various ways that Royal Icing can be coloured for different effects.
You will leave with the confidence to pipe and with your very own beautiful display board in time to decorate your own Christmas cake.
