In this two day course our buttercream expert, Sarah Hunter, will show you how to bake, stack and decorate a beautiful buttercream wedding cake.

Sarah will teach you how to make a delicious vanilla sponge cake and coat with a smooth Swiss meringue buttercream. You'll also learn how to make beautiful edible buttercream flowers and how to safely stack a two tier buttercream cake.

What you will learn:

  • How to bake a perfect Vanilla Sponge cake
  • How to make Swiss Meringue Buttercream
  • How to professionally trim, layer, fill and crumb coat your cake with buttercream and preserve.
  • How to stack a two tier buttercream cake with dowels.
  • How to colour buttercream and efficiently fill a piping bag.
  • How to make a stunning range of different buttercream flowers.
  • How to create a beautiful floral arrangement on the cake.

What you will take home: A full recipe booklet and student notes, a beautifully decorated and delicious cake ready to share with friends and family.
