Claire will show you how to make and use ganache to achieve a smooth finish on your cake in preparation for covering and decorating. Once covered Claire will go on to teach you how to use sugar paste to sculpt the bark and how to use clever painting techniques to achieve this amazingly realistic look. You will also learn how to make an ever popular succulent using flower paste and use dust colours to make it come to life.

This class uses different fondants and pastes and Claire will share her knowledge of how to use the correct paste for each component. This is a fantastic class for anyone wanting to create rustic woodland themed cakes which are on trend for weddings, engagements and celebrations.
