Whether refined and elegant or fun and flirty: ruffles add textural and visual interest to your cakes! In this Sunday Skills Workshop, expert cake decorator Fran Willoughby will teach you 3 different ruffle techniques that you can use on your next celebration cake. You will learn the different techniques to achieve the lightest and fluffiest of ruffles in the shape of a heart, a rosette and upwards/downwards ruffles to cover the side of your cake.

You will learn:
The perfect ratio of floral and sugarpaste for ruffles that hold their shape whilst still being soft to eat
How to achieve a pinch-ruffle heart, a rosette ruffle on the top of your cake and upwards and downward facing ruffles on the side of your cake.
