Over two days, learn how to create wired roses, sweet peas, delicate filler flowers and foliage to create a beautiful, colourful posy.
SK tutor Claire Fitzsimons will take you through the essential tools and equipment needed for making sugar flowers. She will teach you the techniques and processes required to create realistic wired flowers, pulled flowers and foliage.
Under expert guidance, you will learn different wiring techniques, veining, dusting and how to assemble the final individual flowers and foliage into a spray.
You will leave with a beautiful display and the confidence to create impressive wired and pulled flowers.
Note: the spray can be used to decorate a cake but the course does not include a cake. If you wish to learn how to cover a cake, please refer to our Key Skills: Celebration Cake course (in the Foundation section).
