Barry Johnson
Barry Johnson is a highly talented, classically trained pastry chef and chocolatier. He is reigning UK and Ireland World Chocolate Master and represented the UK at the World Chocolate Master in Paris in November 2018 where he finished 8th in the world. Barry trained as a pastry chef at The Connaught Hotel and Raymond Blanc’s Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons. Working at The Wolseley, Harrods, and as Head Pastry Chef at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel. Previously he was the Principal Chocolatier for renowned confectioners Rococo Chocolates. Barry’s keen attention to detail, innovative approach and natural teaching ability means he is in much demand across the world. He is devoted to sharing his skills with others, both the classical approach to patisserie and chocolate as well as innovative, modern techniques.
